We began celebrating the New Year by going to Ivar's Salmon House on Lake Union. Next, we went on a cruise around Lake Union and watched the Space Needle fireworks at midnight... Unfortunately, sometime during the cruise our car was broken into, our rear window completely crushed, 2 suitcases stolen, Vero's passport and all the day's shopping in Seattle. Not the best way to start out the New Year.... :(
New Year's while we had smiles......
Atleast we had a yummy dinner and nice view of the fireworks. Lessons we have learned: (1) don't park your car in reverse on a shady Seattle road, (2) always have your passport on you, (3) cruise + University of Washington Frat row students + open bar (alcohol) = stinky cruise! Next year I think we will stay at home...
