Nana's visit!

This August we were blessed to spend 10 days with Nana! It was a WONDERFUL visit full of many memories...We had the priviledge of celebrating Costa Rica's Mother's Day (August 15th) with Nana.
Of course, Mother's Day would not be complete without breakfast in bed!

While Nana was here we enjoyed a ferry ride (to nowhere - but that didn't matter)...


After the ferry ride we toured the Lighthouse of Mukilteo's Lighthouse Park. We went all the way to the top. Ben and Sammy loved it - but a little too high for my mother-in-law and me!!!
After the lighthouse we showed Nana our favorite pastimes at the park including kite flying....

And playing in the sand...

One of the highlights of Nana's trip was visitng the Snoqualmie Historic Railroad.
It was a hit - my boys don't like trains or anything..... ;)

The train whistle was LOUD - but well worth it!

We will DEFINITELY have to repeat this trip!!!

I don't know what it is about that place.... But it is always a hit!

Nana's visit also included a trip to the Children's Museum.

Off to Costa Rica!!!

Finally, the boys have been playing bowling on the Wii, but they wanted the REAL THING...

It was a blast and guess who won???
