This weekend we visited a local salmon hatchery to try our hand at fishing. We got to feed the baby salmon and they also stocked a "fish pond" with trout for the kids to fish.
Oooooh.... Fish food smells!

Ben was so excited he was about to jump in with the fish....

Ben caught a fish within the first two minutes....
Sammy was a different story. 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes, people came and went with their fish....
Waiting, waiting, and more waiting.....
Trying to be patient.....
FINALLY!!!! 4 different kinds of bait later - Sammy set eyes on his fish only to say goodbye (catch and release). Fishing is hard work!
